Required Documents
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of stay
- Valid return or onward ticket
- Sufficient funds to meet costs of stay (normally US$100 per day or equivalent to cover expenses other than board, as stated in official guidance)
- Confirmed hotel booking OR evidence of local sponsorship (if sponsored, sponsor details such as name, address, telephone number, National Identity Card and utility bill)
- Not engage in any gainful (paid) activity during the stay
- Fill in and submit the Digital or Printed All‑In‑One Travel Form issued by the Ministry of Health and Wellness and hand it over at Health Counters on arrival
- Vaccination certificate only required if coming directly from an area infected with cholera or yellow fever (as published in WHO Weekly Epidemiological Record)
- Be eligible to re‑enter country of origin or residence
- Admission is subject to final decision by Mauritius Immigration on arrival

Children travelling on a parent's passport need not complete a separate visa application form (per Passport & Immigration Office guidance)
Visa may be granted on arrival for up to 60 days for nationals of India, but a visa does not guarantee admission — final decision rests with Immigration. Nationals arriving without a required visa may be repatriated at the carrier’s expense.
