Required Documents
- Create an account on the official Egypt e-Visa Portal (requires an email address) and sign in to start an application.
- Complete and submit an e-Visa application (each visitor must submit their own application; parents may apply for children from the parents' account).
- Apply at least 7 days before your departure.
- Pay the e-Visa fee online using Visa, MasterCard or other debit cards.
- Keep the e-Visa printout and present it at the port of entry to Egypt.
- Ensure the application is complete before submission — incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Note that the visa processing fee is non-refundable.
- Possession of an e-Visa does not guarantee entry to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Parents can apply for their children from the parents' account on the e-Visa portal.
After payment the application will be processed and you will receive an email with the application status. Apply at least 7 days before departure. Visa processing fee is non-refundable.
Requesting an e-Visa with Diplomatic, Service, Special, Official, Temporary, Nansen, Refugees, Mission, Alien's, or July 51 Agreement passports is not allowed via this portal — visit the nearest embassy/consulate for those passport types.
