Required Documents
- Valid passport (issued within the previous 10 years and valid for at least 3 months beyond the date you intend to leave the Schengen area)
- Completed Schengen visa application form
- One recent photo complying with ICAO standards
- Medical travel insurance covering emergency medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation (including in case of death)
- Supporting documents proving purpose of stay (itinerary, bookings, invitation, etc.) and accommodation during your stay
- Evidence of sufficient financial means for the duration of the stay
- Evidence of intention to return to India after the visit (supporting documents as requested by the consulate)
- Appointment/visit to the Czech consulate or authorised visa application centre to lodge the application and provide fingerprints
- Payment of the visa fee (see visa_fee_text); additional service-centre charges may apply
- Submit application at least 15 days before travel (and no earlier than 6 months before travel)

Passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the date of departure from the Schengen area and should have been issued within the previous 10 years.

Evidence of sufficient financial means for the duration of the stay (no specific amount given in source).
Medical insurance covering emergency medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation (including in the event of death).
Supporting documents relating to the purpose of your stay (itinerary, bookings, invitation), evidence of accommodation, and evidence of intention to return.
Children: reduced visa fee noted for ages 6โ12. Fingerprints are collected when submitting the application; exemptions for fingerprints exist for certain specific categories (not detailed in source).
Lodge the application at the consulate of the country of main destination (or first point of entry if stays are of equal length). Normal processing time is 15 days; may be extended up to 45 days for detailed examination. You may need to book an appointment.
