- Apply online via the official ASAN eVisa portal (https://evisa.gov.az).
- Apply at least 3 working days before travel (standard processing: 3 working days; urgent processing: 3 hours).
- Use the same passport in the eVisa application as the passport you will travel with (if different, the eVisa is invalid).
- Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the eVisa expiry date.
- Print the issued eVisa (it is not affixed to the passport) and present the printed eVisa + passport at the border.
- Each child—even if registered in a parent’s passport—requires a separate eVisa application; family applications may cover 2–10 applicants.
- If staying in Azerbaijan more than 10 days, register your place of stay with the State Migration Service within 10 days of arrival.
- Visa on arrival at the border is not available for travellers who are on the official eVisa-eligible countries list—use the eVisa portal.
